Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support and enhance our Actimize-based financial crime and fraud detection systems specifically for Currency Transaction Reporting. This role is part of our Chief Operating Office Technology group, which supports key risk, compliance, and regulatory initiatives across the bank. This resource will lead the design, development, and implementation of Actimize solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with Wells Fargo’s risk and compliance standards.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex technology initiatives
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Requirements:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience
5+ years of experience with Actimize platform (RCM, AIS, ActOne)
Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and JavaScript
Experience with Actimize plugin development, custom profiles, and case management workflows
Familiarity with CTR systems
Proven ability to lead complex technology initiatives and cross-functional teams

Nice to have:
