We invite applications from skilled Mainframe Assembler Engineers to oversee the maintenance and ongoing development of the PiNet Batch solution—a vital peer-to-peer file transfer system integral to data centers within the Danish financial sector. This solution underpins clearing and payment services and operates solely on IBM mainframe platforms.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain and enhance the PiNet Batch client software and codebase
  • Implement and validate modifications in Assembler code
  • Deliver support and comprehensive documentation for sector participants
  • Facilitate the annual exchange of cryptographic keys (DKMS)
  • Conduct DBA tasks related to DBIO and PiNet Batch
  • Coordinate sector-wide activities and address risks associated with legacy systems
  • Aid across other mainframe areas – support and development

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with IBM mainframe environments (ISPF/TSO, JES)
  • Advanced proficiency in Assembler programming, particularly in maintaining Panels and Batch processes
  • In-depth knowledge of COBOL programming
  • Familiarity with REXX and the interface between Batch and transport layers
  • Proven experience with cryptographic key procedures and security protocols
  • Proficiency with ConnectDirect or IBM Sterling Integrator
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
