TheBoeing Company is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer–DevSecOpsto support ourSpace Battle Management Command and Control(SBMC2)teamlocated inColorado Springs, Colorado. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization. The ideal candidate will specialize in DevSecOps to support the CI/CD pipeline development effort under the Rocknet Software Development Services (SDS) Program. This role will focus on the architecture, sustainment, and expansion of pipelines and other technical solutions for a classified network. The selected individual will architect, develop, document, and maintain standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle. This includes enabling continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety-critical software. The engineer will automate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across software engineering development, tooling, testing, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software engineering systems, while also analyzing, planning, and executing mitigation strategies to prevent potential security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. Additionally, this position requires communication with customers and end users to elicit needs and requirements and architect compliant solutions, while leading the team in implementing these concepts.
