Job Description:

Lead Software Engineer position at Wells Fargo focusing on designing, developing and maintaining distributed streaming applications using Java technologies and cloud platforms.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Requirements:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience
11+ years of strong hands-on experience in Designing, developing and maintaining Distributed streaming applications using Java, J2EE, Spring frameworks
Hands-on experience on Cloud technologies, primarily on PCF
Hands-on experience in messaging systems like Solace, Kafka and Apache Flink
Working experience on distributed caching technologies like Coherence, Ignite, Redis
Experience in collaborating with development groups and having strong system design and architecture capabilities
2+ years of Leadership experience
Good knowledge and exposure of front to back trade life cycle events for Fixed income Trading and primarily on Asset backed finance
Good Communication and presentation skills
