Job Description:

Lead Software Engineer to join the Database Engineering organization, helping to create a fully automated suite of APIs, tools, and utilities that will deliver swift builds, a stable and consistent operating environment, empower customers through self-service, and provide seamless integration with other automated processes across the bank.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Requirements:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
5+ years of experience with Python including tools such as Pytest
ability to deliver ~100% code coverage in unit tests
use of classes and inheritance, code reuse
5+ years API development with Flask, Django or FastAPI
5+ years with Git or equivalent - collaborative development requiring pull requests and peer reviews
5+ years of experience in Agile teams, Scrum or Kanban
5+ years of experience with tools such as Jenkins, Jira, and automated deployments

Nice to have:

3+ years with React, Angular or Vue
3+ years with Sqlalchemy
3+ years with PL/SQL
2+ years with Ansible
