Trimble is looking for a hands-on Lead SDET Engineer to architect end-to-end testing frameworks across Azure and AWS cloud environments, ensuring our next-generation platforms meet exceptional quality and strict compliance standards while driving a high-performance culture of continuous release confidence. Job Responsibility

  • Architect and execute comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies for complex systems deployed across both Azure and AWS cloud environments
  • Implement and scale advanced test automation frameworks covering API, UI, and deep integration testing layers
  • Champion quality ownership by mentoring junior QA engineers and SDETs on automation best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner closely with cross-functional engineering and security teams to validate critical compliance and readiness requirements
  • Drive the integration of automated testing suites into active CI/CD pipelines to maximize release confidence and minimize defects

Requirements

  • Solid professional experience spanning 7 to 12 years strictly within dedicated SDET or QA leadership roles
  • Core proficiency in TypeScript and Playwright for building modern web automation frameworks
  • Secondary development familiarity with Java or Python alongside testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, or Postman
  • Hands-on experience executing performance testing suites utilizing JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to diagnose complex bottlenecks
  • Comprehensive grasp of Agile Scrum frameworks, risk mitigation planning, and managing automated suites inside CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Nice to have

Prior experience operating within compliance-driven testing environments such as FedRAMP, SOC2, or ISO frameworks
