Job Responsibility:
Lead & Inspire: Mentor, coach, and elevate a high-performing team of developers, ensuring continuous growth and career development
Raise the Bar: Set technical standards through hands-on coding, code reviews, and architectural design
Deliver Impact: Drive execution of the product roadmap, making smart build vs. buy decisions and ensuring fast, high-quality delivery
Own the Process: Optimize agile practices, improve feedback loops, and keep the team laser-focused on outcomes
Collaborate & Align: Partner with Product Managers to shape the roadmap, define priorities, and deliver solutions that balance business goals with technical excellence
Grow the Team: Recruit top talent, onboard effectively, and build a world-class engineering culture
Requirements:
A proven technical leader (2+ years as a Manager or Tech Lead) with experience guiding software teams
A hands-on engineer with strong coding skills, design expertise, and a passion for high-quality software
A proactive, pragmatic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and drives projects to completion
A great communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear direction for both teams and stakeholders
Experienced in performance management, agile practices, and building resilient, scalable systems
Based in—or ready to relocate to—Calgary, AB (relocation support available)
