Job Description:

Customer Services Digital Solution is responsible for the delivery of Digital Solutions on Maintenance and Engineering perimeter, internally for Customer Services and externally to airlines, MROs and lessors. Examples of solutions are Health Monitoring for aircraft diagnostic, Predictive Maintenance, heavy maintenance optimization, aircraft ground connectivity solutions for Airbus fleet, electronic documentation. The skywise engineer would essentially develop quick win solutions on the Skywise platform that would provide immediate value to the end customer. The Skywise Engineer is also expected to understand the customer pain points. He / she needs to leverage The domain knowledge / understanding of the Airline operations (maintenance, ground operations etc) in capturing the requirements. The Skywise Engineers would then work on the big data collected from the aircrafts per flight from various Airlines. Using the data exploration / manipulation and visualization techniques, the Skywise engineers provide deep insights into the Airline data, by developing algorithms.

  • Strong airline domain knowledge to engage with airline end users to articulate the pain points / business requirements of the airline end-users
  • Create a repository of solutions developed

Requirements:

  • Expertise in data analysis methodologies and processes and their linkages to other processes
  • Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases and database design
  • Strong knowledge on Python, PySpark
  • Experience with integration efforts (packaged and customized applications) from a data analysis perspective
  • Strong business analyst skills, able to work with many different stakeholders to elicit and document requirements
  • Solid customer service skills and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Good judgment, initiative, commitment and resourcefulness
  • Proficient with Skywise platform and tools e.g. Contour, Code-Workbook, Slate and Ontology definitions
  • Experience with other AWS services including S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, RDS, and VPC
  • Bachelor's degree / BTech in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 6+ years of experience
