Job Description:

Select Offshore is currently seeking an experienced Lead Site Manager to lead the offshore commissioning phase of a major wind energy project. This is a critical, high-responsibility role requiring leadership of multidisciplinary teams and coordination of all commissioning activities related to wind turbine and electrical system energization. Working offshore, you will manage daily operations, ensure full HSE compliance, and deliver against commissioning schedules and technical requirements. You will also be the primary liaison between offshore execution teams, client representatives, and vendor partners.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee all offshore commissioning activities across wind turbines and electrical systems
  • Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Manage multiple teams of technicians and subcontractors during daily operations
  • Promote and enforce high HSE standards across all scopes of work
  • Interface with client representatives, OEMs, and vendors to align on priorities and handovers
  • Track progress, mitigate risks, and maintain control over the commissioning budget
  • Deliver accurate and timely daily progress reports
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for final project handover to the Service team

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience managing offshore wind commissioning campaigns
  • Strong technical background in turbine systems and electrical infrastructure
  • Proven leadership of large operational teams in high-pressure environments
  • Sound knowledge of HSE compliance in offshore settings
  • Experience with stakeholder coordination and reporting
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Previous experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 wind contractors preferred
