Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Developer to lead the design, development, and optimisation of the ServiceNow platform at VOIS. Based in Pune or Bangalore, this role requires a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration, with deep expertise in Service Portal, scripting, and integrations. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with business needs, while also mentoring others and driving continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end development of ServiceNow applications and modules
  • Design and customise Service Portals to maximise platform capabilities
  • Implement and manage complex third-party integrations using web services and plugins
  • Maintain and optimise CMDB and Asset Management processes
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure alignment between business logic and code
  • Uphold quality assurance through best practices and security protocols
  • Create and maintain documentation for development and compliance
  • Provide training and share knowledge on ATF scripting and testing methodologies
  • Stay current with ServiceNow advancements and recommend platform improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration
  • Proficient in Service Portal, client/server-side scripting (JavaScript), and integrations
  • Experienced in agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • Skilled in managing SCDL workflows and leading development teams

  • ServiceNow Development: - This includes technical consulting and software development services on the ServiceNow platform. These services would encompass changes, enhancements and new functionality in currently deployed instances
  • ServiceNow Strategy: -The person will provide analysis and coordination for upcoming ServiceNow releases
  • This will highlight new and revised functionality that is relevant to SITA’s stated business objectives
  • The candidate will also be available to consult with SITA on the optimization of existing ServiceNow and ESB applications, providing recommendations where appropriate
  • He/she must leverage, and update test scripts created by the main project and where necessary, create new test scripts, run them against the new / updated functionalities and provide results prior to the maintenance release
  • ServiceNow Maintenance:- This includes activities related to the routine maintenance of the ServiceNow platform
  • The ServiceNow-related activities would include incident response, incident resolution, defect management, performance optimization, upgrades, patches, user administration, group administration, role administration, domain administration, security response and optimization as well as the administration of all active ServiceNow features and functions
  • Responsible: - For coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting changes in the application and Workflows
