Job Description

We are looking for a Site Lead - Lead Service Provider Management (all genders) for the Logistic Centre, who will lead a team and manage strategy operations in the logistic warehouse in Poland, Głuchów. You will join a group of an experienced and talented Management Team who will help and support you on every step to make our Logistic Centre the best place to cooperate. This position is available ASAP.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the local site operations for Zalando with ownership of all topics related to the delivery of Logistics Operations onsite
  • Engage with the 3PL provider in ensuring SLAs, KPIs, capacities and other operational key figures are met
  • Make sure that Zalando`s expectations in social standards, labor relations and other standards are met
  • Lead a group of internal or external leaders to achieve the overall team targets
  • Cooperate within matrix structure with respective stakeholders within Zalando organisation controlling, transportation, automation, network steering and others
  • Support the strategic steering of this local fulfilment center by tracking, analysing and reporting key logistics metrics and the cost monitoring
  • Define and drive the Zalando expectations and experience onsite
  • Identify and prioritise activities that will drives business values and long-term risks, and adapt the business accordingly

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree together with several years relevant experience
  • Experience from a solution minded environment in fulfilment services, contract logistics or production, including experience in leadership
  • Profound understanding of processes along the entire fulfilment chain
  • Fluent in Polish (is a must) and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build strong and successful relationships within and outside the company
  • Ability to discuss critical issues in a constructive manner and communicate across senior leadership levels
  • Expert in collaborating with others
  • Analytical comprehension with a structured approach to problem solving
