Job Responsibility
Lead spacecraft electrical interface design, integration, and testing, including PCB and harness design
Design and develop avionics subsystems and flatsat test environments
Lead RF integration and testing, including radios, emulators, and ground station simulation
Develop EMI/EMC and magnetics control strategies, including grounding schemes and environmental test plans
Manage spacecraft power budgets, communications architecture, and protocol selection
Develop and own electrical integration procedures across spacecraft builds
Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate avionics with broader spacecraft systems
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
5+ years of experience in spacecraft avionics design, assembly, and testing
Strong expertise in PCB design, harness design, and systems-level electrical engineering
Proficiency with EDA tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar)
Experience with aerospace standards (e.g. NASA GEVS or similar)
Experience working in cleanroom environments and adhering to ESD protocols
Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers and driving delivery
Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
