Job Description

Baptist Health is looking to add a Lead Security Officer to our Protective Services Department at our brand new Baptist Silverleaf Clinic location. This is a full-time, days opportunity working 12-hour shifts. The Lead Security Officer's primary function is to assure the day-to-day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties. As patient safety and experience are top priority this growing team is currently implementing new technologies such as metal detectors.

Job Responsibility

  • Assure the day-to-day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties
  • Providing all the services of a Safety and Security Officer
  • Receiving special training in other areas such as, investigations, security equipment, administration, safety, haz mat, training
  • Handling the materials management ordering for the location and will need to trained to have access to the supply chain software

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3-5 Years Law Enforcement Experience
  • 3-5 Years Security Officer Experience
  • 3-5 Years Military Experience
  • 1-2 years Healthcare Experience
  • Driver's License Required

  • Associate's Degree
