Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Securities Operations Specialist as part of the Regulatory Reporting Team within Wealth and Investment Management Operations. This team is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reporting to regulators aligned with the WIM business. The role plays a critical part in shaping cross-functional initiatives with broad organizational impact.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead complex lifecycle initiatives and operational excellence within Securities Operations
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives with broad organizational impact
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted operational tasks
  • Make decisions in complex situations related to trade environment
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues
  • Manage operational processes including client account onboarding, funding operations, custodial operations and general ledger reconciliation
  • Resolve complex escalated issues
  • Research complex business risks and develop policies
  • Lead implementation of projects and new processes

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Securities Operations experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of Brokerage Operations experience with strong understanding of security products
  • 5+ years of process improvement and risk management experience in business transformation environment
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across departmental boundaries
  • Maintains continuous process improvement mindset
  • Strong rapport building and ability to work in matrixed environment
  • Highly effective communication skills and people leadership skills
  • Ability to lead complex projects both technical and non-technical
  • Ability to take ownership over business processes and team
  • Successful completion and registration of FINRA Series 99 or FINRA equivalents
