Job Responsibility:

  • Lead automation-first testing practices across multiple Salesforce clouds, ensuring releases meet Boeing’s standards for quality, security, compliance, and scalability in a large, regulated enterprise environment
  • This role partners closely with Product Managers, dev Leads, Salesforce Developers, Architects, Release Management, and DevOps teams to embed quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and enable predictable, high-quality releases
  • Own and define the Salesforce testing and quality assurance strategy, covering functional, regression, integration, API, UAT, and end-to-end testing
  • Lead automation-first testing initiatives using Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) as the primary automation platform
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient automated test suites aligned with Salesforce metadata-driven architecture
  • Embed automated tests and quality gates within Copado CI/CD pipelines to ensure release readiness and defect prevention
  • Drive the transition from manual testing to low-code/no-code automation, leveraging Copado Explorer and AI-assisted capabilities where applicable
  • Partner with Developers and Technical Leads to ensure test coverage for Apex, Flows, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and APIs
  • Oversee regression testing execution, parallel test runs, and environment-specific validation across sandboxes and production
  • Establish and track testing KPIs and quality metrics, providing clear visibility into release risk and readiness
  • Ensure compliance with Boeing security, audit, and regulatory standards throughout the testing lifecycle
  • Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of test processes
  • Mentor and coach SF engineers and testers on Salesforce testing best practices and automation standards
  • Support UAT coordination with business stakeholders and validate production deployments
  • Stay current with Salesforce seasonal releases and Copado feature enhancements, proactively adapting test strategies

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) and Copado CI/CD
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and security models
  • Experience testing Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event-based integrations)
  • Experience working in Agile / SAFe delivery environments
  • Strong knowledge of STLC, test strategy, test planning, and automation frameworks
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, ADO, or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 12 Plus years' related work experience or Master’s Degree with 11+ years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required

Nice to have:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer I
  • Copado certifications (Copado Fundamentals I & II, Copado Robotic Testing Certification)
  • Experience with additional automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, or API automation frameworks
  • Experience in large, regulated enterprise environments (aerospace, manufacturing, defense, or similar)
  • Exposure to risk-based testing, data migration validation, and environment management
  • ISTQB Test Manager or equivalent testing certification
