Job Responsibility

  • Unlock and secure the premises, turn on lights and equipment, and perform opening/closing cash counts
  • Process sales, handle cash, credit cards, and checks, and manage the cash register accurately
  • Arrange merchandise, create attractive displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Conduct stock counts, receive new inventory, and maintain organized backroom stock
  • Ability to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends, as the role requires exclusive opening or closing shifts
  • Work directly with customers, welcoming them and helping them find everything they need to complete their project in one trip
  • Be on your feet for most of your shift (4 to 8 hours)

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in hardware retail
  • Expertise in at least one of the following categories: Hardware, Electrical, Plumbing, Tools, Paint
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred
