Job Responsibility:
Unlock and secure the premises, turn on lights and equipment, and perform opening/closing cash counts
Process sales, handle cash, credit cards, and checks, and manage the cash register accurately
Arrange merchandise, create attractive displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked
Conduct stock counts, receive new inventory, and maintain organized backroom stock
Ability to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends, as the role requires exclusive opening or closing shifts
Work directly with customers, welcoming them and helping them find everything they need to complete their project in one trip
Be on your feet for most of your shift (4 to 8 hours)
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in hardware retail
Expertise in at least one of the following categories: Hardware, Electrical, Plumbing, Tools, Paint
