Lead safety officer

• Lead site HSE implementation and support project teams in maintaining high safety standards
• Interface with Client HSE Leadership to ensure alignment with project safety requirements and standards
• Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Mines Act, DGMS guidelines and applicable statutory requirements
• Oversee safety for critical construction activities including work at height, scaffolding, erection & lifting activities, excavation, confined space entry, hot work, and electrical works
• Inspect construction equipment, lifting machinery, and other site equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and gap analysis
• Monitor contractor safety practices and enforce permit-to-work systems
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety trainings, and safety reviews
