Job Description:

This role involves contributing to liquidity oversight, maintaining reporting processes, and collaborating with various stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, Risk Management, and Audit. Specific tasks include reporting and analysis of liquidity stress tests, leading reviews, developing risk processes, and supporting leadership in analytical projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain and generate regular reporting, attribution, and analysis of the bank’s various liquidity stress tests and identify key drivers of change
  • lead monthly review of liquidity stress results with the FRM-LRO team and members of Model Risk Management Validation team to present monthly highlights in the change in the liquidity position and communicate the key drivers of that change
  • development of risk-based processes, procedures, and standards to ensure that reporting and analysis is used to identify areas where review and challenge of Front-Line processes or assumptions are necessary
  • build and maintain effective working relationships with the Front-Line, other IRM partners, and Wells Fargo Audit
  • lead analytical projects or assignments to support product Subject Matter Experts (SME) or individuals from the FRM-LRO Leadership team for optimal ways of harnessing information as it relates to assumption reviews, limit reviews, audits, exams, or recent stress trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: liquidity risk, finance/treasury/asset liability management
  • experience in bank liquidity and/or capital analysis including stress test scenarios
  • a BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in banking and finance
  • experience with SQL, SAS, or similar database tools
  • advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • proven ability to foster constructive relationships with various levels of management
  • excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to be proactive in terms of identifying and addressing risk and management issues that are arising
  • to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured
  • ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
  • working knowledge of liquidity risk management concepts
  • demonstrated success leading and implementing sizable projects
