Lead Risk Analytics Consultant - Home Lending Risk

• Lead complex initiatives related to data and reporting to support business analysis including those that are cross functional, with broad impact, and act as a key participant in data aggregation, monitoring, and reporting of portfolio metrics for risk analytics
• Review and analyze complex databases, extract data and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial data support to risk partners and projects
• Create & manage the roll out of automated and dynamic self-service dashboards and reports developed to support portfolio monitoring
• Make data and reporting decisions in support of complex risk exposure, requiring a solid understanding of business unit projects, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence analytic and reporting needs to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with peers, less experienced to more experienced managers, to resolve production, project, and regulatory issues
• Lead projects, teams, and mentor

• 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Experience manipulating large datasets using SAS, SQL, Tableau
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the highest attention levels for detail
• Superior ability to identify, evaluate, aggregate, and challenge risks, while also proposing potential solutions to identified issues
• Ability to work independently with appropriate direction
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and apply prudent risk mitigation principles
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
• Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas - both internally and external third parties
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thoroughly research and analyze options and impacts of solutions
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and think strategically
• Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
• Knowledge of Home Lending a plus
