We’re looking for a Recruiting Lead to operate as a true player-coach: owning critical EPD hiring end-to-end while providing light-weight leadership, prioritization, and mentorship across the recruiting team. This role is approximately 60% hands-on recruiting and 40% recruiting leadership, ideal for someone who loves being close to the work while shaping how it gets done.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the recruiting process for top priority roles within Engineering, Product, and Design at Harvey
Operates as a player-coach, balancing individual contributor recruiting responsibilities with mentorship, guidance, and capacity planning for a small group of technical recruiters (FTEs and contingent)
Serve as a key recruiting partner to a designated functional leaders in EPD, ensuring their org has clear recruiting prioritization, aligned resources, predictable hiring outcomes
Develop creative, high-signal sourcing strategies to attract exceptional technical and product talent in a competitive market
Serve as an ambassador for recruiting innovation by experimenting with tools, automation, and workflows that improve efficiency across the board
Act as a trusted advisor to the business, surfacing risks, unblocking bottlenecks, and recommending process improvements as Harvey scales
Extremely diligent about achieving key recruiting targets and tracking weekly metrics to drive performance
Model a high bar for execution, judgment, and partnership, contributing to a culture of ownership and excellence across the recruiting function
Requirements:
7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong track record hiring technical talent (Engineering, Product, and/or Design)
3+ years leading, mentoring, or acting as a senior point of leverage for other recruiters
Strong business acumen
A self-starting, resourceful approach with comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without authority
Ability to thrive in fast paced environments, you embrace ambiguity and navigating uncharted areas
High standards for execution, data hygiene, and follow-through, paired with sound judgment and pragmatism
