Lead Radiochemist in Quality Control

• Lead QC operations, ensuring compliance with GMP, TGA, EPA and radiation safety legislation
• Oversee test method validation, and performance qualification and validation of equipment
• Perform and review analytical testing, stability studies and batch documentation to support product release
• Manage QC materials, inventory, raw material testing and contingency planning for equipment downtime
• Maintain accurate QC records, data trending and contribute to Product Quality Reviews and continuous improvement
• Lead, train and mentor QC Radiochemists, and maintain QC training materials and GMP documentation
• Support technology transfer, special projects and collaboration with QA, APs and Operations to uphold quality systems
• Ensure safe QC laboratory operations, manage radioactive waste, and uphold SAHMRI’s WHS, Code of Conduct and Values

• Postgraduate qualification in chemistry, pharmacy, biological sciences, or related field
• Prior radiochemist experience (essential)
• Strong knowledge of GMP/GLP, analytical testing, and pharmacopeia monographs
• Familiarity with QC equipment and radiation protection practices
• Leadership experience and ability to train others in test methods and GMP processes
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
• Commercial acumen and ability to work in a dynamic environment
