Job Description

The Lead Product Manager, Devices plays a critical role in shaping and executing the product strategy for ResMed’s China market, with a dedicated focus on the Curative portfolio. This role is responsible for driving the roadmap, lifecycle, and commercial success of Curative device platforms, ensuring they meet the unique needs of Chinese patients, providers, and distribution partners. Working at the intersection of market insight, product strategy, and cross-functional execution, the Lead Product Manager will translate China-specific opportunities into clear outcomes and partner closely with global Device Product teams to ensure alignment across the broader portfolio.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and continuously evolve the vision and strategy for Curative device platforms, rooted in deep understanding of the China market, regulatory landscape, competitive environment, and user needs
  • Translate China-specific insights into product direction, feature prioritization, and commercialization strategies
  • Shape a roadmap that balances local requirements with global scalability and long-term ResMed strategy
  • Lead the lifecycle of Curative device products across discovery, development, launch, sustaining, and iteration phases
  • Collaborate with global Device Product leadership to influence platform evolution and ensure China-market considerations are integrated early
  • Support new product introductions and releases with clear product requirements, business cases, and cross-functional alignment
  • Partner closely with engineering, clinical, regulatory, operations, design, quality, marketing, and regional China teams to deliver integrated, market-ready product solutions
  • Ensure that Curative device products align with and complement global device platforms, digital health capabilities, and ecosystem strategy
  • Act as the voice of the China market across internal forums, communicating insights, requirements, and trade-off decisions
  • Support pricing, positioning, segmentation, and portfolio decisions for Curative devices in China
  • Monitor business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and partner with regional teams to drive growth and competitiveness
  • Contribute to long-range planning, volume forecasting, portfolio health assessments, and commercial strategy
  • Identify opportunities to enhance Curative devices through firmware updates, new features, platform optimizations, or differentiated experiences tailored to China

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in product management, product development, or relevant technical/commercial roles
  • Experience working in or closely with the China market, including understanding of local regulatory pathways, competitive dynamics, and customer needs
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in technology-driven or regulated environments
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate market insight into clear product direction
  • Experience with hardware + software products, medical devices, or long-lifecycle platforms is highly desirable
  • Ability to influence across organisational boundaries and collaborate with global stakeholders
