You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, customers, and business stakeholders to define problems, validate solutions, and deliver intuitive, scalable, and safety-critical user experiences. Reporting to Group Product Manager, this is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on delivery, problem-solving, and building quality at scale. You’ll own and evolve the design system, contribute to shaping design direction through your work, and act as a consistent advocate for users as the product organization continues to grow.
Job Responsibility:
Work across the full design lifecycle, from discovery and research through UX and UI design to delivery, within cross-functional product teams
Plan, lead, and conduct user research activities, including facilitating design workshops with internal and external stakeholders
Synthesize research and insights into clear, actionable outputs such as user needs, personas, journey maps, information architecture, user flows, and wireframes
Periodically evaluate product experiences through heuristic reviews and other qualitative methods to identify usability issues and opportunities for improvement
Own, evolve, and maintain the company design system to support consistency, scalability, and efficient delivery of high-quality experiences across multiple products
Provide design leadership by setting clear design direction and influencing cross-functional teams through strong ideas, principles, and well-reasoned design rationale
Act as a user and design advocate within product and engineering teams, ensuring user needs and experience quality are well represented in product discussions and decisions
Partner closely with Product Management to ensure design work aligns with product strategy, roadmap priorities, and business goals
Communicate design intent and rationale clearly to a broad range of stakeholders to build alignment and shared understanding
Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture through trust, openness, and a passion for quality design
Requirements:
5–8+ years of experience in product design, UX, or a related discipline, ideally within complex or B2B product environments, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality, user-centred digital products
Demonstrated expertise in leading end-to-end product design, from problem definition and discovery through to UX and UI delivery of production-ready experiences
Strong command of user-centred design and research practices, including planning research, synthesising insights, and applying evidence to inform and improve design outcomes
Proven ability to translate complex workflows, regulatory constraints, and technical considerations into clear information architecture, task flows, and intuitive interfaces
Advanced skills in designing scalable UI systems, with experience contributing to and evolving design systems that enable consistency, accessibility, and efficient delivery across products
A clear commitment to design excellence, reflected in high standards of craft, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset
A curiosity-driven and innovative approach to problem-solving, exploring new ideas, patterns, and methods to improve product experiences and design practices
Strong capability in evaluating and improving usability, using heuristic analysis, usability testing, and iterative refinement
The ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments, working closely with Product Managers and Engineers to support shared goals and delivery
Clear and confident communication of design intent and rationale, using structured storytelling, critique, and documentation for diverse stakeholders
Nice to have:
Experience designing mission-critical, regulated, or safety-focused software, where accuracy, reliability, and risk awareness are as important as usability
Demonstrated success scaling design practices or systems in growing organisations, particularly across multiple products or teams
Ability to use user insight and strong design rationale to shape product thinking, even in environments where design influence is still evolving
Experience working with expert or professional users, designing tools that prioritise clarity, efficiency, and depth over surface-level polish
