Job Responsibility:

Define and own HubX’s design vision & principles across all apps
Lead, hire, and mentor a team of UI/UX designers
Partner with Product/Engineering on onboarding, paywalls, retention loops, and engagement UX
Ensure every HubX app feels like a category leader in its vertical
Provide art direction across our entire portfolio of apps—ensuring that from concept to final product and through to marketing assets, all design elements speak a consistent and cohesive visual language
Set and maintain an exceptionally high bar for visual and interaction design — every pixel, transition, and motion detail matters
Integrate AI tools and workflows into the design process to boost speed, creativity, and efficiency — from ideation to prototyping and user testing

Requirements:

8+ years of product design experience, with 3+ in leadership
Proven track record scaling design orgs for consumer mobile apps
Portfolio demonstrating world-class UI/UX, brand identity design, and motion animation expertise
Strong people leadership: you’ve hired, mentored, and scaled teams
Extensive expertise in Figma and proficiency with motion animation tools such as Rive and Lottie
Deep understanding of design thinking principles, user experience best practices and product strategy, with the ability to translate user insights into intuitive, engaging, and scalable product designs
Exceptional visual taste, a designer with a razor-sharp eye for detail, typography, motion, and composition
Strong curiosity and hands-on experience integrating AI into the design process (e.g., ideation, research synthesis, or visual exploration)
Experience partnering closely with engineers and PMs to ship delightful, data-informed user experiences
