Job Description:

The Lead Engineer is a hands-on technical leader for a small scrum team supporting a major enterprise client. This is a true hybrid IC + people leadership role, splitting time between building and reviewing production code and leading delivery, process, and team development. You act as the team's daily technical authority, scrum leader, and people manager, partnering closely with a Senior Engineering Manager and client stakeholders. Success requires strong full‑stack expertise, disciplined delivery leadership, and a genuine AI‑first development mindset.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own engineering decisions, code quality, sprint execution, and on-time delivery while contributing hands-on across the full stack
  • Actively integrate agentic AI tools into daily development
  • Directly manage 4-5 engineers, driving performance, career growth, engagement, and a high-accountability team culture
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to clarify requirements, influence design decisions, and advocate for platform-scalable solutions
  • Coordinate with QA, architects, and other leads to ensure standards, quality gates, and delivery risks are managed effectively

Requirements:

  • 8-10+ years of enterprise SaaS experience
  • Full-stack expertise (C#/.NET, Angular, Oracle)
  • Experience running scrum teams and managing engineers
  • Experience with DDD, CQRS, Azure, modern CI/CD practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven AI-driven development approach
