As our new Lead Primary Teacher, you aren't just managing a classroom; you are architecting an environment where neurodivergent children finally feel safe enough to flourish.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a small, personal class of up to 10 pupils, adapting a broad and balanced curriculum to meet specific sensory and learning profiles
Drive excellence across your Key Stage, overseeing curriculum planning, tracking learner progress, and mentoring a dedicated team of staff
Prioritize life and social skills alongside academics, ensuring our learners are prepared for the opportunities and responsibilities of adult life
Work closely with parents and our multidisciplinary team to ensure every Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) is a living document of success
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record in Primary education
Significant experience working with autistic children or young people
The ability to inspire a team, manage performance, and lead with organizational clarity
Proficient in Google Suite and data management
Nice to have:
Post-graduate qualifications in Autism or SEN
NPQML or experience in school improvement planning
