Job Description

Step into the future of education as MyEdSpace's dedicated History Teacher for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. This position is a full-time role with ~6-12 lessons delivered per week. We turn you into an educational influencer on social media. You will be a leading face of the company and need to be comfortable building this online presence. You will partake in marketing efforts, including building social media content and being featured in adverts to promote MyEdSpace and your course. You will report directly to our Founding Team.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and deliver engaging online lessons via live streams - interact with your class and answer questions as they arise
  • Prepare all course materials including full curriculum plans, lesson plans, presentations and homeworks etc
  • Create engaging educational content for social media
  • Collaborate with our Marketing Team on innovative ad campaigns
  • Communicate with students and parents to refine our services
  • Support our Co-Founders in various other company initiatives

Requirements

  • Hold a degree (or higher) in History or a related field, achieving a 2:1 or above
  • Achieved top grades at A-level, achieving A/A* in your subject at A-level
  • Are willing to work in London
  • Are a dedicated and hardworking individual
  • Have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience and QTS
  • Have experience teaching OCR/ AQA history at A-level
  • Authorised to work in the United Kingdom
  • Are willing to develop your personal brand on social media
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is driven to develop personally, contributing to a transformative educational venture

  • Knowledge and working experience of underwater inspection (UWI) in the form of visual inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) conducted by means of the intervention of diver(s) and/or remotely operated vehicle (ROV) or crewed submersible (i.e., either as a practitioner and/or as the result of training or certification conforming to the requirements of CSWIP Document No. CSWIP-DIV-7-95 – Part 1 and 2)

  • Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy LNG systems and processes, including the Project Management System. Engage contractors and applicable third-party organisations with a professional approach and maintain a good working level relationship

  • Monitor the technical inspections, verification, certification and acceptance by Specialist Third Party Inspection (TPI) Contractor, as applicable, and develop the final documentation for each offshore campaign (i.e., PL-49, PL-75, PL-610 and PL-811)
