Job Description:

An “Outstanding” Secondary School in Westminster is on the hunt for a Lead Practitioner of Chemistry for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time, and permanent position. The Head Teacher is keen to find an enthusiast who can take the Schools Chemistry curriculum & department to the next level. You’ll be given full support from SLT while the freedom to make changes where needed. You’ll be joining a School with a HUGE list of achievements over the past 10 years, while be surrounded by peers who generally want to make a difference daily. There’s no pointless / outdated teaching or marking methods – EVERYTHING makes sense.

Job Responsibility:

Raising attainment, and quality of learning across KS3-KS4 – KS5 Is an additional option
Working alongside a very STRONG Head of Department
Leading from the front, oozing passion & enthusiasm towards Chemistry!

Requirements:

Must have high standards for yourself & colleagues
Proven record of outstanding teaching
Real passion towards Chemistry
Willingness to lead from the front
Must have UK QTS
Graded “Outstanding” or “Good” in recent lesson observations
