Lead Power Distribution Technician

• Timely and accurate setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate power distribution equipment
• Inspect and maintain power distribution equipment and cabling
• Provide excellent service and strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers
• Maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication
• Meet with guests on site to ensure that their needs are met and the equipment setup is working properly
• Monitor events and checks in on customers throughout the day
• Understand and foster hotel/client relationship
• Understand the technical aspects of the job and demonstrates basic operational ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with equipment and software issues
• Handle equipment challenges and changes in a timely and professional manner
• Understand the technical aspects and the SOP's for power distribution services
• Understand and practice OSHA, NFPA 70E and NEC power distribution safety and compliance
• Understand company processes, follows procedures and completes systems entry and paperwork accurately
• Use of equipment sheets to determine the equipment scheduled for set up and for strike
• Interacts with other staff and outside vendors for equipment
• Increases revenue by utilizing floor up-selling techniques
• Completes Navigator order entries and finalize invoices with clients, as needed

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred
• 3+ years of power distribution experience is preferred
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles
• Ability to obtain ESTA PDT certification within first 12 months of employment

Bachelor’s degree is preferred
