We are seeking Workday Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the Human Resource technology driving Capital One. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
Deliver solutions in Workday across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results
Design and develop complex integrations within the Workday platform to support candidate and associate experience using web service technologies, SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML, XSLT
Provide technical expertise on Workday Studio technologies, security, troubleshooting system issues, data analysis, vendor management and coordination with other HR/Enterprise teams
Lead a team of integrators and configurators to support the Workday HCM modules
Work with product owners to align on priorities and deliver on key objectives using Agile methodologies, while maintaining the highest platform and Enterprise standards
Design and develop automation workflows, perform unit tests and conduct code reviews for self and the team, to make sure work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded and effectively tuned for platform performance and quality
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 6 years of experience on HR platforms (Workday)
At least 4 years of experience with Workday Integrations or functional configuration related tasks (HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Performance Management)
At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects
Nice to have:
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of experience working with Workday Human Resources modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting or Talent and Performance Management, Finance
5+ years of experience working with Workday platform across the Workday Finance modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers)
5+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Experience with building solutions utilizing Workday Extend
Experience with Workday Orchestrate
Workday or Workday Pro certifications (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Performance Management or Financials)
