Job Description:

As a Lead People Business Consultant at HSBC, you will provide objective advice and expertise on People/HR multi-disciplinary projects and programs in alignment with the long-term business vision of the organization. This role includes various responsibilities such as strategic ownership, portfolio and program management, stakeholder engagement, and leading people plan initiatives. The role is pivotal to driving transformational programs and fostering collaboration across global and regional structures.

Job Responsibility:

Strategic ownership – Translate strategic priorities into actionable and measurable plans for implementation
portfolio management – Own and manage complex portfolios of work with planning and execution for GCOO and GSCs
program management – Design controls for managing and monitoring scope issues, schedule over-runs, risks, and inter-dependencies
stakeholder management – Develop long-term relationships and manage expectations of key stakeholders
design and delivery of people plans – Partner with key stakeholders to define, execute, and measure the effectiveness of people plans
team effectiveness – Promote trust, collaboration, learning agility, and well-being within the team.

Requirements:

Experience of managing multiple portfolios of projects through strong ideas and tailored/innovative solutions in the area of People/Human Resources
thrive in a collaborative team atmosphere, with exceptionally good analytical skills, to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives
internal/external consulting experience and strong influencing skills with prior experience of engaging with senior global stakeholders and managing a team
critical thinker with the ability to evaluate and interpret problems leading to logical solutions and effective decision making
immediate right to work locally and no relocation need.
