Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Pega to join our Claims Technology team within the Technology for the Chief Operating Office (TCOO). This group delivers cutting-edge technology solutions that support operations, strategic execution, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and customer experience across the enterprise

Job Responsibility:

Lead development of complex, large-scale applications using Pega, driving architecture and design decisions
Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code that integrates seamlessly with platform releases
Collaborate in an Agile environment with architects, developers, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions
Champion best practices in software development, deployment, and system architecture
Conduct code reviews and contribute to automated testing to ensure engineering excellence
Design and maintain system integrations including APIs, file transfers, and SQL queries
Drive continuous improvement, challenging the status quo to enhance performance and scalability

Requirements:

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of hands-on experience with Pega development
3+ years Software Development experience in an Agile environment

Nice to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Pega CSSA Certification (Senior System Architect)
Strong expertise in Pega Case Management, integration rules, application security, and layering concepts
Experience in Fraud, Dispute, or Case Management domains
Prior experience with Wells Fargo systems
