As a Lead, Partnerships Business Operations & Strategy, you’ll play a critical role helping Figure’s largest customers design their pricing and margin strategy. You’ll serve as the primary economic interface for partners, aligning pricing, gain-on-sale expectations, volume growth and market competitiveness with Figure’s financial guardrails. This role also delivers partner-level economic insights and works cross-functionally across Partnerships, Product, Finance, Credit, Capital Markets, and Analytics to drive growth for both partners and Figure, improve transparency, and optimize revenue.
Job Responsibility:
Lead partner-facing economic discussions, tailoring rate sheets and pricing recommendations to meet partner needs
Understand Figure pricing/product initiatives with economic impact and design an execution plan for partners that optimizes economics for both the partner and Figure
Conduct partner-level margin and revenue analyses, providing insights on gain-on-sale alignment, channel performance, and competitive dynamics
Translate partner feedback into structured pricing or economic requirements
Support the evolution of pricing strategy by assessing market trends, competitive positioning, and channel economics
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to improve pricing strategy and execution
Serve as liaison between partners, Figure’s pricing team, and Finance
Own and operationalize the partner invoicing process, including data validation, reconciliation, and reporting
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in mortgage capital markets, mortgage originations, structured products, pricing, secondary marketing, investment banking, or strategic finance within fintech or financial services
Strong understanding of lending economics (LLPAs, gain-on-sale, capital costs)
Proven ability to manage external commercial discussions and engage directly with partner capital markets or institutional teams
Strong analytical and economic intuition, with proficiency in Excel
Experience translating complex business or partner needs into clear economic frameworks and pricing recommendations
Excellent communication, organization, and influencing skills
able to navigate ambiguity and drive cross-functional outcomes
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
