The Lead Oracle GoldenGate Administrator will oversee enterprise production and non-production environments, ensuring optimal database performance and providing 24x7 operational support. The role requires a minimum of 8 years of overall database experience, with at least 4 years in Oracle GoldenGate. Responsibilities include leading a DBA support team, managing SLAs, and implementing security best practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as Lead Oracle GoldenGate Administrator for enterprise production and non-production environments
  • Provide 24x7 operational support with end-to-end ownership of SLAs, KPIs, and service availability
  • Handle L3/L4 GoldenGate incidents, performance issues, and escalations
  • Lead and mentor a multi-shift GoldenGate / DBA support team
  • Manage shift schedules, on-call rotations, and workload distribution
  • Design and implement Oracle GoldenGate architectures
  • Configure GoldenGate components (Extract, Pump, Replicat, Trails)
  • Implement checkpointing, conflict detection, and error handling mechanisms
  • Implement and support cross-database and heterogeneous replications
  • Ensure schema evolution support and minimal data latency
  • Troubleshoot data mismatches, lag, and replication conflicts
  • Plan and execute Oracle GoldenGate upgrades and migrations
  • Design and validate HA/DR replication topologies
  • Implement security best practices, including encryption of trails and secure credential management
