Night Shift rotating 12 hour shifts. Responsible for guiding the shift activities within the assigned production area to execute the Production Schedule and ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time. The Tier 1 Technician fulfills the responsibilities of this role when vacant.
Job Responsibility:
Guide the shift activities within the assigned production area to execute the Production Schedule
Ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time
Lead their assigned room with administrative input and guidance as well as technical assistance where possible
Generate work orders to reflect production planning for their assigned area
Print labels when needed
Issue materials to production orders and Report Ops Complete as needed
Plan and Allocate resources to the manufacturing lines in their area
Ensure all Manufacturing lines have the supplies and resources needed to work at their highest efficiency levels
Ensure proper training for all machine operators
Coordinate communication between QC and Production area
Ensure Supervisor Production Floor Lead is updated on activities throughout the shift
Record production results at the end of the shift and update Tier 2 boards/graphs for their area
Ensure that all personnel are trained and follows management Systems, Procedures and Work Instructions
Ensure that all personnel comply with all OSHA, Fire Safety, EPA and other regulatory guidelines and rules
Ensure that all personnel comply with all Company Operations, Personnel, Safety and Environmental policies
Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor or management
Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D required
Ability to maintain good, positive, cordial working relationships with all personnel
Ability to work with others in a way that elicits their cooperation and support
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and information
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Must have been in their current role for six (6) months
Met or exceeded performance expectations on their last review
Be clear of any written warnings for the last six (6) months
Be clear from probation or suspension for the last six (6) months
