Job Description

The Lead Network Engineer at NTT DATA will play a crucial role in managing complex network environments, ensuring operational excellence, and providing technical support. Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in network engineering, with strong skills in Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto technologies. A CCNP certification is required, and additional certifications are preferred. This position offers a hybrid working environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure client network infrastructure is correctly installed, configured, monitored, and fully operational
  • Lead advanced troubleshooting, manage high‑complexity incidents, and drive root‑cause analysis to prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, providing onsite technical support and escalating issues where necessary
  • Drive operational improvements through incident reviews, process optimization, and identification of automation opportunities
  • Manage and contribute to network‑related projects, including disaster recovery testing and knowledge‑sharing with junior team members

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of hands‑on network engineering experience within medium to large ICT environments, including managed services and ITIL-based operations
  • Strong technical proficiency in Cisco (Nexus, ASR/ISR, Meraki, ISE/ACS), Fortinet Firewalls, Palo Alto Firewalls, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), NAT, VPN technologies, ISP uplinks, and common monitoring/management tools
  • CCNP certification (minimum)
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, manage pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain a positive, solutions‑oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across cultures, actively listen, collaborate, and deliver strong client-facing support
  • Strong planning, project execution, and documentation abilities, ensuring high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement

Nice to have
