Job Description:

We are looking for an Architect/Tech Lead Mobile Engineer to join our engineering team and help build high-impact mobile experiences used daily by millions of users. You’ll play a key role in shaping the evolution of a large-scale consumer mobile platform, partnering closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver polished, reliable, and delightful app experiences across iOS and Android.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of commercial experience with React Native (iOS, Android) and expert-level TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Deep knowledge of the React Native ecosystem, including: Build processes, Performance optimisation, Monitoring & LiveOps, Native module integration
  • Strong understanding of React rendering behavior and frontend best practices
  • Experience with modern mobile tooling such as Expo, monorepos, and robust CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to cloud and infrastructure environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services)
  • Ability to accurately translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect implementations, including animations and microinteractions
  • Solid understanding of how mobile apps interact with backend systems and web technologies
  • Ownership of end-to-end mobile feature development for iOS and Android
  • Experience working on large-scale, consumer-facing applications
  • Strong focus on code quality, testing, and release stability
  • Experience in establishing or improving coding standards and CI/CD maturity
  • Ability to balance innovation with performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Proven experience providing technical guidance and mentorship
  • Strong drive toward Engineering Excellence
