Job Description:

The Lead Micro-Segmentation Engineer at Wells Fargo will design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution for Micro-Segmentation security solutions. Responsibilities include influencing all levels of staff, driving automation strategies, and providing security consulting for major projects. Applicants should have expertise in APIs, JSON, automation, and security solutions, as well as experience with platforms like Illumio and ServiceNow.

Job Responsibility:

Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for Micro-Segmentation security solutions
Provide requirements and drive teams to create automation/orchestration for Micro-Segmentation
Identify tools and features to strengthen Micro-Segmentation capabilities
Serve as SME for Micro-Segmentation deployment
Provide security consulting to ensure conformity with corporate policies and standards
Implement components of information security using industry-leading solutions
Collaborate and influence professionals, including managers
Define and coordinate automation strategies to integrate micro-segmentation with CMDB and user-facing portals
Translate business and security requirements into actionable deliverables

Requirements:

5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent work experience, training, military experience, or education
Experience with Illumio in large deployments
Experience with Micro-Segmentation security solutions including policy management
Strong understanding of APIs and proficiency in working with JSON
Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies
Knowledge of Zero Trust Framework and network segmentation strategies
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Technical documentation experience
Demonstrated experience in developing network automation
Experience with ServiceNow, Confluence, and Jira
Experience with Linux and Windows server operating systems

Nice to have:

Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies
Knowledge of Zero Trust Framework and network segmentation strategies
Experience with Linux and Windows server operating systems
