Lead Mechanical Shift Engineer | Flagship Central London Site. Are you a technical expert who thrives under the bright lights of high-profile environments? We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Shift Engineer to take the helm at one of London's most iconic flagship developments. As the Lead Engineer, you'll balance hands-on technical mastery with site leadership. You will be the first point of contact for complex mechanical failures and the mentor for your shift team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Technical Oversight: Manage and maintain large-scale plant equipment, including commercial HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, chillers, and pressurized systems
  • Incident Management: Act as the technical lead during critical plant failures, ensuring swift resolution and minimal downtime
  • Compliance & Safety: Oversee L8 water hygiene, pressure vessel inspections, and RAMS for sub-contractors
  • Leadership: Supervise a small team of shift technicians, ensuring all PPMs and reactive tasks are completed to 'flagship' standards.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing & Heating
  • Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
