Lead Manufacturing Engineer, Casting, Special Projects

This role will oversee drawing reviews, CapEx planning, and automation feedback for casting as part of the Factories as a Service team. The Hadrian Factories as a Service team works across all manufacturing methods, and this role is expected to be the Lead Engineer for scoping, designing, planning, and automation feedback for casting across all material types and configurations. You’ll be able to review drawings for manufacturability rapidly, select the right CapEx for part numbers and assemblies, advise our automation team on casting best practices, and have a deep working knowledge of production and inspection methods for casting. This role will both assist in building new factories for existing production scope, as well as contribute to the manufacturing processes of new products where casting is a designed-in function.
