The LCT Senior Manager leads SP Electricity North West’s strategy and end-to-end delivery for Low Carbon Technologies (EV charging, heat pumps, solar PV, and storage). The role provides visible industry influence (ENA/Ofgem/DSENZ), reputational leadership for regulatory/government-led obligations, and ensures ENWL delivers a first-class customer experience from application through to energisation.
Job Responsibility:
Lead SP Electricity North West’s strategy and end-to-end delivery for Low Carbon Technologies (EV charging, heat pumps, solar PV, and storage)
Provide visible industry influence (ENA/Ofgem/DSENZ)
Provide reputational leadership for regulatory/government-led obligations
Ensure ENWL delivers a first-class customer experience from application through to energisation
Requirements:
Degree in a relevant field
HNC in Electrical Engineering
Experience leading teams in customer-focused or operational environments within regulated utilities
Strong understanding of electricity distribution and low-carbon technology connection processes
Experience contributing to industry consultations (e.g., ENA, Ofgem, DSENZ)
Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including executive leaders and public bodies
Confidence engaging at senior levels
Strong commercial awareness, including effective budget management and a focus on productivity and efficiency
