Job Description:

Lead Specialty Software Engineer in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology. Building solutions for Wells Capital Markets technology organization, focusing on automation and modernization. Building strategic cloud complaint platforms to support various strategic business initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex initiatives on selected domains
Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost
Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met
Mentor less experienced software engineers
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
Lead team to achieve objectives
Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively

Requirements:

5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience
5+ years of Java development experience
5+ years of Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD) experience
2+ years of relational or NoSQL DB experience
2+ years of Experience with SDLC and Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence

Nice to have:

4+ years of DevOps tool set based continuous incremental delivery experience
2+ years working Kubernetes like container technology
2+ years working public cloud provider such as Azure or GCP
2+ years using cloud based open source Distributed Caching technology
2+ years of experience working with opensource messaging technologies on cloud such as Apache Kafka/Confluent Enterprise
Experience with UI development using Javascript/React technologies
Financial Services experience preferably Capital Market Experience
