We are seeking a Lead IT Engineer to take ownership of internal IT systems and day-to-day technology operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that core IT services—spanning devices, identity, collaboration tools, and office infrastructure—operate securely, reliably, and in alignment with business needs. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys solving technical problems while also mentoring others, improving processes, and shaping how IT supports the organization as it grows.
Job Responsibility:
Overall health and operation of IT systems across Mac and Windows environments
Identity, access, and device management solutions that ensure secure and seamless employee access
Collaboration and productivity platforms used across the organization
Office-based IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware, and user-facing technology
IT support operations for both on-site and remote employees
Vendor relationships, licensing, and IT-related budgeting
Maintain and evolve internal IT infrastructure, ensuring systems remain secure, current, and reliable
Manage identity and access platforms, including user lifecycle management and application integrations
Administer productivity and collaboration tools, providing both operational oversight and end-user support
Oversee domain-related services and internal network configurations to support business applications
Ensure office IT environments are well-supported, including hardware provisioning and connectivity
Lead IT support efforts by prioritizing issues, improving response times, and guiding best practices
Partner with security stakeholders to enforce policies related to access control, endpoint protection, and data privacy
Manage IT vendors, contracts, and licensing while contributing to budget planning and cost optimization
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in IT systems administration, support, or infrastructure roles
Strong working knowledge of macOS and Windows environments, including provisioning and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with identity and access management platforms such as Okta (JumpCloud experience is a plus)
Proven expertise administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, domain management, and office IT infrastructure
Experience supporting hybrid or distributed teams with both on-site and remote users
Ability to balance tactical support with longer-term systems improvement
Experience leading or mentoring IT team members or managing external vendors
Strong organizational and project management skills with a focus on operational efficiency
Clear communicator who can translate technical topics for non-technical audiences
Trusted partner to teams across the business
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Experience improving IT operations in a growing or evolving organization
