Job Description

Arcesium seeks an accomplished Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. All Infrastructure Engineers are coders and technology generalists who bring their unique combination of breadth and depth of experience and knowledge to the team. As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you’re passionate about providing the foundation and capabilities to our application developers to build upon, and love to solve problems with creative multi-discipline, polyglot, and/or open-source solutions. You are able to work independently, demonstrating “high agency” in your work, but you’ll balance your independence with leveraging the team and working with outside stakeholders as needed.

Job Responsibility

  • Engineer our Linux compute platform based on Kubernetes and AWS
  • Engineer our Python and Terraform-based tools and automation
  • Build infrastructure applications, write, and review code as needed
  • Solve problems with a combination of coding and implementation of open source tools
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex systems
  • Leverage our design, coding, automation, and implementation skills to engineer what Arcesium needs, solving business and technology problems

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant infrastructure experience
  • Proven track record of ownership of critical systems and delivery of systems and features
  • Polyglot programming capability, with advanced level Python ability
  • Experience with running critical workloads on AWS
  • Ability to balance delivery with correctness
  • You have an inquisitive mind, the ability to learn and problem-solve, and are a self-starter
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline is required
  • Have a valid work permit to work in the country.
