Job Description:

Unlike teaching in a traditional daycare center, Kinderberry Hill offers a Reggio-inspired, collaborative environment, the freedom to design classrooms and curriculum around the interests of the children, and the opportunity to contribute to our vision of elevating the profession of childcare.

Requirements:

  • a CDA, college degree (associates, bachelors, or masters) or a minimum of 16 semester credits towards and early childhood education or an ECE related field. College credits are required.
  • ability to work 4 - 10 hour shifts (Monday-Friday)
  • authorization to work in the US
  • must pass MN Department of Human Services Background Study

  • Manage and work with the Director of Acorn Center on interviewing, hiring, and training new staff, and supervising and conducting the evaluations of all staff
  • Collaborate with and support the Assistant Director in maintaining daily staffing coverage and developing staff schedules to meet Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) teacher and staff ratio guidelines
  • Partner with the Family Engagement Coordinator in the recordkeeping of children and families following agency and contract regulations
