We’re looking for a Lead HR People Business Partner who will support as we grow, to maintain our culture of “people-first”.

Job Responsibility:

  • Play a pivotal role in aligning our people strategy with operational needs
  • Be a Business Partner to various Managers across the business
  • Deputise for the People Operations Manager when required
  • Support driving business success, culture, and development within individuals and teams
  • Continuously monitor and review People policies and processes and propose changes where necessary
  • Actively coach and develop our managers’ HR and cultural competency and knowledge in relation to employee relations activities
  • Ensure timely and effective management of people issues including disciplinary and grievance cases, performance management, absence management and wellbeing / OH
  • Lead on change activity, including TUPE, supporting line management
  • Partner with People Development to design and deliver training and coaching for our operational leaders
  • Support management in ensuring we treat everyone fairly and with respect
  • Analysing insight and translating data into effective and commercially focused evidence-based people solutions
  • Undertake projects as and when required, focused on people-based solutions

Requirements:

  • Experience working within an HR/People function
  • Sound knowledge and expertise of employee relations and people-based issues
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, balancing a varied and high-volume workload
  • Proficient in various IT systems including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams
  • CIPD qualification or similar (not essential)
