Lead Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for leading and delegating tasks to housekeeping staff and ensuring completion of assigned tasks including but not limited to the cleanliness and upkeep of all assigned areas, suites, restrooms, dressing rooms, entranceways, stairwells, elevators, escalators, exteriors.
Job Responsibility:
Detail cleaning, mopping, emptying trash cans, replacing trash liners, wipe down areas, sweep, clean up spills and fluids, floor maintenance and other miscellaneous cleaning functions
Leading, delegating and ensuring completion of individual and team assigned tasks
Deliver the best-in-class experience by providing a clean and visually appealing environment for all who enter the arena
Report damage or areas in need of additional attention to the department supervisor
Motivate and encourage staff to complete tasks efficiently and on time
Interact professionally when dealing with all levels of staff, clients, visitors, and guests
Requirements:
A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
Effectively listen and communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
Proven ability to effectively lead a staff
Proven ability to meet deadlines and work effectively and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
Flexibility to work extended shifts including overnights, weekends and holidays
Prior experience in a cleaning environment, methods, supplies and equipment
Maintain good business relations with all levels of staff
Ability to move materials and equipment up to 40 lbs
Ability to position self to clean areas over, under and through
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods during shift
Ability to efficiently move about the venue for extended periods during shift including stairs, elevators and escalators
