Job Description

As our Lead, Growth, you are the strategic engine behind foodpanda Malaysia’s marketing performance. You will lead the analytics workstream that powers our growth—from forecasting and incentive planning to user acquisition and retention strategies. This role requires a Full-Stack Growth leader: someone who can build complex simulations for marketing KPIs and then step into the boardroom to influence regional strategy with those insights. Your mission is to ensure every marketing dollar is optimized to drive sustainable MAU and Order growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Marketing Architecture & Forecasting: lead custodian of marketing-specific forecasting and simulations
  • build and manage models that predict and drive core marketing KPIs
  • proactively simulate growth trajectories and identify core marketing levers
  • Budget Guardianship & Frameworks: serve as the guardian of the marketing and campaign budget
  • ensure investments are deployed efficiently across different verticals
  • custodian of frameworks ensuring campaign mechanics align with regional guardrails
  • monitor impact of pricing experiments on core marketing metrics
  • Strategic Campaigns & Experimentations: lead the Javelin workstreams
  • use data to identify high-potential vendor clusters and geographical hubs
  • take end-to-end accountability for experiments from hypothesis to final strategic recommendation
  • Leadership & Executive Presence: manage and grow a high-performing team
  • coach team to move beyond report building into strategic storytelling
  • act as the critical bridge between Regional HQ and Local teams

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of experience in Growth, Management Consulting, or Finance, ideally within the E-commerce or On-demand delivery space
  • Advanced Modelling: comfortable getting into the weeds of SQL, Excel simulations, and Tableau to build forecasting models from scratch
  • Strategic Storytelling: ability to simplify complex data into a compelling narrative for the executive level
  • Bias for Action: thrive under resource constraints and own it end-to-end
  • Stakeholder Mastery: proven experience in influencing senior stakeholders and navigating regional-local matrix organizations
  • Collaborative Force: a natural team player who breaks down silos and builds strong partnerships across functions
