You will join the Cricut eCommerce engineering team, serving as a technical anchor for architects, stakeholders, and third-party partners. In this role, you will go beyond building features; you will architect scalable solutions, mentor a team of developers, and bridge the gap between complex business requirements and high-performance code.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design and development of complex eCommerce features within the SFCC ecosystem, serving as the 'go-to' technical expert for the team
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for a global, multi-site environment
  • Write clean, standards-compliant front-end and back-end code (ISML, Controllers, Scripts) adhering to SFCC best practices (SFRA)
  • Enforce code quality standards through rigorous code reviews, static analysis, and the implementation of unit/integration tests
  • Drive improvements in the CI/CD pipeline, build tools, and release management processes to ensure smooth deployments
  • Proactively monitor site performance (Core Web Vitals) and implement optimizations for speed and conversion
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of total software development experience
  • 4+ years specifically dedicated to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C)
  • Deep understanding of SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture)
  • Expert proficiency in native JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JSON
  • Strong experience with SFCC backend development including Controllers, Services Framework, Job Framework, and heavy usage of OCAPI and SCAPI (Shopper Commerce API)
  • Proven track record integrating third-party LINK cartridges and external services (OMS, PIM, ERP, payment gateways like Adyen/Stripe, and tax services)
  • Experience managing multi-site, multi-currency, and multi-locale implementations
  • Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, npm) and version control (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket)
  • Previous experience leading code reviews, sprint planning, and technical implementation for a team

Nice to have:

  • Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer or Architect
  • Experience with PWA Kit, React, or Headless Commerce architecture
  • Implementation experience with GTM (Google Tag Manager) and GA4
  • Ability to translate designs from Figma/Sketch into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces
  • Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and lifecycle management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira/Confluence
What we offer:
  • Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
  • 401(k) match
  • Generous PTO
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Yearly lifestyle stipend to support wellness and passions
  • Exclusive employee discounts
