Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Full Stack Application Development Engineer to join our Cloud Technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic frameworks, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while adhering to Citi's security standards and SDLC processes.

Job Responsibility:

Develop foundational components and advance technological capabilities within AI and LLM domains
Build robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions, embracing agile methodologies
Partner closely with internal development teams and subject matter experts across the business to deliver integrated solutions
Ensure all software platforms adhere to Citi's security standards and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
Manage and innovate the platform at scale, ensuring continuous evolution and high performance.

Requirements:

6+ years of relevant experience in Application Development, including designing and developing web portals and intranet/internet applications
Strong proficiency in Programming Languages, with a preference for Python, FastAPI, and Javascript/Typescript
Hands-on experience implementing web applications using Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML5, JSON, CSS, and AJAX
Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts: Language Models such as GPT, Gemini, Claude
Transformers including Attention Mechanisms and Encoder-Decoders Architectures
Agentic Frameworks
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
Proven experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) activities: Systems Analysis, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, Deployment Planning
Experience with Code Reviews and Continuous Integration
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Source Code Management (SCM) tools like GIT, along with issue tracking tools like JIRA
Demonstrated experience building and running large-scale platforms
Solid understanding and experience with RESTful API design principles
Experience with Container technologies (e.g., Docker) and Kubernetes
Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies
Development experience with at least one major Public Cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Ability to adjust priorities quickly and effectively
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
Consistently demonstrates clear, concise, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have:

Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases for handling large volumes of unstructured or semi-structured data
Designing schemas
